Self-Propelled Medium Artillery Turbolaser: When your planet is invaded, the SPMA-T is perhaps the best defensive unit available. For that last push against the enemy buildings, an AT-ST is perfect, but it's a poor unit to use as in garrison. It can take down infantry somewhat fast, but it can take down buildings and turrets faster. When supported by slightly stronger units, they are a real threat to Rebel armor.Īll Terrain Scout Transport: The famous bipedal machine is more of a siege engine than a real weapon. Even better, they have shields to help defend themselves against enemy fire.
M-2 Repulsor Tank: The first vehicle with some actual use, M-2s are strong against Rebel ground vehicles.
In other words, the TIE Mauler isn't worth the credits. In the early stages, stick with infantry later, you'll want to advance to better tanks. Although they work well against infantry, you don't get too many in a company. TIE Mauler: TIE Maulers are bottom-tier vehicles. They're weak to vehicle fire, but if they go down, only the bike dies at first, and they convert to a singular Stormtrooper. They're highly anti-personnel, as they have bombs that can wipe out a dozen infantry at a time. Zipping along on a Speeder Bike, these guys fly around the map to strike quickly. Scout Troopers: Scout Troopers are Stormtroopers who found some wheels. However, once more and more vehicles come into play, Stormtroopers will lose their effectiveness. Two companies are easy to produce and can handle most of the work in the early goings of a match.
Stormtroopers are a little on the weak side defensively, but a single company comes with a whopping 18 units. Stormtrooper Platoon: The classic guys in white are back to kick some tail.
